Coaching is about getting curious, so let’s get curious together!
I love questions. They can help us tune into gut reactions and invite us to learn from assessing things from a different perspective.
Like in coaching, there are no right answers. How we choose to interact with the ideas presented here, is up to us. Think of this as a space to come for inspiration, leading questions, and prompts for self-investigation.
I’ll be posting new prompts here regularly, so come back soon and see what’s next.
How do you show yourself love, compassion, grace? What does this look like, feel like, sound like? How often does it happen? How can you make it happen more often?
Do you experience changes in yourself as the seasons change? Can you label or name these shifts? How do they show up? Are they physical, mental, or emotional? Do they mirror the seasons themselves?
What are your methods of self-care? How many of them are “outsourced” to others like therapy, massages, etc. versus a long walk, a hot bath, being creative, etc.? How often do you make time for them?
How many different types of love do you feel? Can you define each of them (what are their attributes, who/what falls into each category, etc.)?
Research suggests that we make upwards of 35,000 choices a day. How many of the choices you made today were you aware of? How many impacted others? Did any of them cause you stress, anxiety, fear, etc.? How many of them made you smile, laugh, excited, etc.?
Can you tell when you are getting frustrated, angry or worked up about something? Are the signs physical, emotional, or mental? What is your typical response?
How easy is it for you to think about, write down, or say out loud things that you love about yourself? How often do you do this and what feelings come up when you do?
What brings you joy? How often do you engage in this activity (these activities)? How can you incorporate more of this into your life?
When, where, and with whom do you feel safe?
Can you recall an instance when you experienced unconditional love? Who was it with? What did it feel like? What were the circumstances?
With the new year upon us the idea of RESOLUTION is all around. How do you feel about New Year’s resolutions? Do they help you make the changes you want to make? Do they create a feeling of disappointment or shame if they are not met?
