My journey into trauma-informed coaching started with a simple but persistent question: Why do I keep doing things that feel wrong?

Over a decade ago, while earning my master's degree in Conflict Resolution, I became fascinated by the patterns behind human behavior. Why do we get triggered by? Why do we blame others? Why do we sabotage our dreams? Why do we continue to see ourselves as a victim?

What I discovered changed everything, those automatic responses that feel so frustrating? They're actually intelligent adaptations. The self-sabotage, the people-pleasing, the hypervigilance. The problem isn't that we developed them, it's that many of us are still running on survival programming that doesn’t support our current lives.

Getting curious about these patterns instead of judging them was a game-changer. When I started reflecting on the fact that the were created to protect me rather than just trying to eliminate them, everything shifted. This understanding led me to take action in a completely different way; working with my patterns rather than against them.

This understanding led me deeper into trauma-informed approaches and somatic healing. I became certified as a Trauma-Informed Coach because I realized that lasting change happens when we work with both the mind and the body; you can't think your way out of patterns that live in your nervous system you have to feel your way through them.

For the past decade, I've applied these insights in leadership roles at tech startups, where I've seen firsthand how unprocessed trauma and limiting beliefs show up in professional settings, in everything from imposter syndrome to conflict avoidance to burnout. These experiences taught me that whether we're talking about personal relationships or workplace dynamics, it all comes back to the same thing, understanding our patterns and consciously choosing new ones.

My approach combines conflict resolution strategies with trauma-informed coaching and somatic techniques. Together, we'll identify the patterns running behind the scenes, honor what kept you safe, and consciously choose new responses that align with who you're becoming. This isn't about reliving your past it's about reclaiming your power to choose your future!
